The LTA are hosting two Disability National Championships on the same weekend! We are looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to help make the experience and unforgettable one for the players.

Dates 15-17th November 2019

1. Learning Disability National Tennis Championships - Sunderland, Silksworth Community Pool, Tennis & Wellness Centre
2. Visually Impaired National Tennis championships - Wrexham, Wrexham Tennis Centre
 
Both events will run over the same three days so you will only be able to help at one.

THE ROLE
The volunteer role is mainly based on court, however every court will have an official umpire so you will not require any previous tennis knowledge and will not be involved with scoring. Jobs include:

- escorting players on/off the court
-helping them position themselves behind service lines
-picking up loose balls
-giving balls to players
-helping players at change of ends

There may be other jobs on the day such as tea/coffee stations etc. You will be provided with a volunteer t shirt as well and lunch, tea/coffee every day.
