CMU/WSP Academic Advisor Approval Form
This form should be completed by the primary academic advisor of the student applying for participation in the Carnegie Mellon University Washington Semester Program (CMU/WSP). More information about the program may be found online at cmu.edu/cmist/washington-center/washington-semester-program/index.html.

Please meet with the student and discuss what impact, if any, participation in this program will have on his/her progress toward graduation. Please complete this form after meeting with the student to discuss his/her participation in the CMU/WSP.

Junior year is an ideal time to participate in the CMU/WSP. The program, however, is open to second-semester sophomores, juniors, or seniors. Students must declare a primary major before attending the CMU/WSP.
