LA County Food Bank along with Supervisor Kathryn Barger's Office are holding a food drive at Sorenson Park in Lake LA on September 14, 2022 from 0730 - 1200 hrs. AV CERT has been requested to help the effort by providing any available volunteers.
At this time, specifics of duties, indoor/outdoor volunteer work options, and if it will be drive up or walk up are not available as of yet. Please be aware of the weather for that day and dress appropriately for it and have personal essentials on hand such as water, sunscreen, etc. If we receive a flyer, we will add it to the AV CERT Volunteer Private Facebook Group.
