Thank you for taking time to read the July 9, 2020, DRAFT of the Valdosta City Schools Reopening Plan for the 2020-2021 School Year.  

Please be reminded that this is a draft, a working document that is subject to change at any time given the ever-changing recommendations and predictions of COVID-19.  Know that our top priority is and will always be the safety and well-being of our students, staff and VCS families.  

We understand the many concerns our families and students currently have.  We understand that some families concerns are much larger and some are much smaller, however, they are ALL important to us.  

Valdosta City Schools' mission is to provide quality teaching and learning, resulting in superior performance for all; that has not and will not change.  We hope that our families can feel confident in knowing that we are doing everything possible to ensure our mission is being met, regardless if it is being done virtually or in person.  We thank each of you for your support, your ongoing patience and your trust in us as we continue to work through these unprecedented times.
