Participants learning the fundamentals of chess will engage with online and text-based resources to develop a sound understanding of chess.

Participants extending their knowledge will study opening theories, end-game principles and tricks/traps to employ or avoid. Students will also be challenged with chess-based puzzles, explore chess tactics and regularly compete.

3:30-4:30pm: Suitable for both the beginner and advanced players - PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF TIME.

* SOME STUDENTS IN YEAR ONE MAY BE READY FOR THE RIGOUR OF LEARNING CHESS. THIS WILL BE AT THE DISCRETION OF MR CARTER AFTER A TWO-WEEK TRIAL PERIOD.

Cost of $99 applies if payment is received prior to 26 July 2019. Fees after this date revert to $120.
