FREE PARENT WORKSHOP: Protecting our LGBTQ+ Youth
This 3-hour session is designed to support Parents/Caregivers of LGBTQ+ youth, LGBTQ+ Parents/Caregivers, and LGBTQ+ youth. 
At the end of the session you will be able to use evidence-based arguments to advocate for you and your family members. In addition, you will have a better understanding of issues affecting LGBTQ+ youth, your state's legal protections for LGBTQ+ and TGNC Youth, and be able to offer support to educator-allies. Topics covered:
  • Understand  LGBTQ+ identities (Sexual Orientation, Gender Expression, Gender Identity, & Sexual Characteristics)
  • Learn how to provider safer and affirming spaces/experiences for LGBTQ+ people
  • Learn about State specific protections for LGBTQ+ kids at school.
  • Develop language and skills to advocate for your LGBTQ+ Family, and hold school districts and other education professionals accountable.

We require a minimum of 6 people for a session. If you would like to schedule a session in your area with members of your community.

We make every effort to offer resources to LGBTQ+ people and families 100% FREE. You are not required to pay.
This session generally costs between $750 - $1500 on our sliding scale.
