2019 Summer Reading Summit - Hotel Sign-up

We're looking forward to seeing you in Salem the last weekend of September!

If your library is located more than 50 miles away from Salem, you are eligible to sign up for hotel lodging. We will allocate 2 rooms per library system for Friday, September 27th, and Saturday, September 28th on a first come, first served basis. Since we are using LSTA funding to cover lodging, IMLS requires a 50+ mile radius to cover lodging. We will print out Google maps of distance traveled to document your mileage.

The State Library has reserved a block of rooms at The Phoenix Inn and Suites in South Salem, 3 miles from the Salem Public Library. (Approximately a 10 minute drive.) Please do not call the hotel to book. We will give the hotel a list of all attendees and they will require an ID when you check in. They will also require a credit card for incidental charges, but it will not be charged the hotel room rate, it is merely for holding for incidentals.

If we have a high number of attendees sign up for lodging, we will begin a waitlist when rooms are full. We will let all summit attendees know when we have reached capacity.
