Its that time of year again! For over 15 years, each holiday season, hundreds of parents, teachers, administrators and community members have volunteered to “adopt” a needy student’s wish list for Christmas and to purchase some of the gifts the child asks for on that list. This year, the need is so great due to the pandemic and the loss of jobs, that the ways to help have expanded.
There are many ways to help. You can do a wish list for one or more children. If you agree to do this, please follow through. Once the student fills out the wish list, we do not want to disappoint them since many of these students are disappointed by adults way too often. Additionally, please ignore requests that are way too expensive such as a pony, piano or phone, since many of these students have no idea of cost.
OR, if you prefer, you could buy any generic items like jackets, socks, shoes, grocery store gift cards, hand sanitizer or toilet paper.
Gifts or items will all be due by December 9, 2022 for distribution. Location for drop off will be provided later.
IF you agree to participate, you will be provided a wish list or sizes needed for other items.
