Dates:  3/18/24 to 4/8/24  (Asynchronous with synchronous office hours available.)

Giving students opportunities to move during the school day can increase focus and attention and help them learn more effectively. Teachers will obtain new strategies to incorporate music and movement into instruction and routine. The book, The Kinesthetic Classroom: Teaching and Learning Through Movement by Traci Lengel, is a requirement of this course.  Twenty free copies of the book  are available for pickup at Islip UFSD:  215 Main Street, Islip, NY 11751.
