Salmon Arm 2024 55+ BC Games - September 10-14, 2024
Complete this form if you want to become a member of the BC Seniors Games Society OR if you would like to register as a participant or supporter for the Salmon Arm 2024 55+ BC Games. Registration opens March 1 and closes June 30.
Do not be alarmed at the number of pages showing at the beginning of the form - you WILL NOT HAVE to complete 40+ pages. Once you select your sport the number of pages to complete will be significantly reduced!
Prior to registering, participants should be familiar with the rules, age categories and events, within their respective sport. Refer to the Rules and Technical documents on each
sport page.
NOTE - you do not have to fill this form out twice if you are not yet a member, this is a registration form as well as a membership application for membership, you can complete your membership application and your registration at the same time.
Pickleball participants
January 2024 - Please register with Pickleball Brackets PRIOR to and in addition to submitting this registration form. HERE is a link to Pickleball Brackets. Organizers will be better able to plan the tournament schedule and draw using real time registration data throughout the registration time frame. Participants will not be considered registered in the Games until they have registered with Pickleball Brackets as well as with BC Seniors Games Society by submitting this form. All pickleball participants require their Pickleball Brackets account number to complete this form. NOTE - you must register in the same events in Pickleball Brackets as you do on this form. You do not have to submit the form multiple times if you are playing in different age categories, you will have the opportunity to add comments to indicate you are playing in two different age categories (i.e. playing in singles but then you are playing in a lower age category in doubles).
Equestrian participants

Swimming participants
All events require seed times.
Badminton, table tennis & tennis participants
Please know the first and last name of your partner as well as their age or date of birth.
Golf participants
Please know your handicap index and your Golf Canada membership number, both are mandatory for registration.
Horseshoe participants
Please be prepared to enter your percentage number as well as your BC Horseshoe Association number, however this number is optional.
Large teams - more than 5 participants
Each individual on a team is required to register individually. At a minimum, please know the name of your team so your zone volunteers are able to match individual registrations with their team members forms. A non-playing coach or manger for your team will also need to register as a supporter and will have the opportunity to submit a roster list, even if the roster not at the time of registration.
Looking for a partner or a team
Please complete this form, the questions will guide you through the form even if you don't currently have a partner or a team to play with. It is VERY important to notify your zone if you find a partner or a team on your own if you have already submitted your registration form. Your zone registrar or zone sport coordinator will assist you in finding a partner in your zone before your name is added to a provincial placement list. All efforts will be made to find a partner from your zone, however, you may be placed with a partner or a team from another zone.
Participating in the Canada 55+ Games & the 55+ BC Games
If you are participating in the Canada 55+ Games and the 55+ BC Games, you DO NOT have to complete this form twice. You only need to submit this form once. The questions will guide you to complete membership with the BC Seniors Games in order to participate in both Games. DO NOT FILL OUT THE REGISTRATION PORTION OF THIS FORM IF YOU ARE ONLY COMPETING IN THE CANADA 55+ GAMES - THERE IS A DIFFERENT SPORT REGISTRATION FORM FOR THESE GAMES. ONLY COMPLETE THE MEMBERSHIP PORTION IF YOU ARE NOT PLANNING ON COMPETEING IN BOTH THE CANADA 55+ GAMES AND THE 55+ BC GAMES.
Refund policy November 2023 - The BC Seniors Games Society Board of Directors approved a motion to provide full refunds to participants if their sport is cancelled by the Host Society and BC Seniors Games Society. Full refunds include membership fee, registration fee and sport fee. The deadline for submitting a request for a refund is July 27, 2024.
NOTE - if you do not have all the information to complete your registration, you can come back to the form at any time without re-entering all your information.
