INSTRUCTIONS:
- Please provide COMPLETE responses to all of the questions below.
- PLEASE PROOF YOUR CONTENT. Session proposals should be in a final, proofed state, with speaker names, bios, and session description finalized. The content that you submit will be used for printed and online materials.
- You are welcome to submit multiple proposals but please limit one proposal per application
- Incomplete proposals will not be considered.
- We receive many more proposals than we have room for. To try to include as many great ideas as possible, Conference staff may combine your proposal with another.

Sessions will take place in person, in Syracuse, NY September 22-24, 2022.
FOCUS AREAS:
The Conference theme for 2022 is SHIFTING LANDSCAPES.
We accept and encourage proposals on all topics. Priority topics for 2022 will fall under the broad concept of 'shifting landscapes,' including but not limited to:
- Topics that address all types of cultural/historic landscapes, including the 200th anniversary of the birth of Frederick Law Olmsted.
-Topics that address how cultural landscapes and/or preservation can encourage equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in our communities.
- Topics that address the shifting landscapes (whether due to COVID-19, climate change, real estate markets, the economy, etc.) in which we practice preservation.
- Topics that address the shifting nature, definition, expanded audiences, and practice of historic preservation, both as a professional field and grassroots movement.
