Design Camp® 2023 Scholarship Application
NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS UNTIL AUGUST 28TH
Applications are open from 8:00 AM, Monday, August 28, and are due by 5:00 PM, Friday, September 29. Recipients* of this opportunity will be notified by 12:00 noon, Friday, October 6.
Applicants are eligible to apply for a scholarship to attend Design Camp® 2023 if they identify as members of under-represented groups as it relates to race/ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability status, age, socioeconomic class, and/or veteran status.
The scholarship includes the cost of admission to Design Camp® 2023 (Friday, October 27th through Sunday, October 29th)** which is valued from $330 to $675.
To apply for this opportunity, applicants must submit an essay that is less than 300 words about why they want to attend Design Camp®, and how they envision it impacting their design career and experience as an individual of a marginalized identity. If you are comfortable doing so, please use this as an opportunity to not only speak about design but also speak to your identity.

*Recipients of this scholarship will remain private and will not be promoted publicly on the AIGA Minnesota social channels or at Design Camp. If the recipient wishes to celebrate their win, they may do so at their own discretion.
