Ethnic Studies - Fall 2021
Long Beach Unified and Cal State Long Beach are excited to offer free Ethnic Studies courses to LBUSD high school students in the Fall 2021 semester.  Please take some time to consider the following before expressing your interest.

1. Students receive high school and CSULB credit for completed courses.  
 
2. Classes are offered at our high school campuses on Saturdays mornings (9 AM -12:15 PM) from September 11 to December 11 2021.  
 
3. The introductory course is a survey of four major ethnic groups:
       - Native American
       - African American
       - Chicano/Latino American
       - Asian American
 
4. The secondary courses offer a deeper look one of the four major ethnic groups.
