2020-2021 School Year - Planning Survey
This parent survey is to help the Biloxi Public School District better prepare for the start of the 2020-2021 school year.  We ask that you please complete the survey for each child that will attend the Biloxi Public School District during the 2020-2021 school year.

Your responses will help guide us in the planning and decision making process for next school year.  It will also provide us with valuable information to share with the Mississippi Department of Education.  Please understand that these questions are only for internal planning purposes.  Future guidance from the Mississippi Department of Education, the Mississippi Department of Health, and elected officials may alter these plans.

Due to Covid-19 and the uncertainty that lies ahead, school districts are developing multiple plans for the 2020-2021 school year.  Potential plans could include the following:  Option A:  a normal start to the school year (best case scenario).  Option B:  a mixture of distance learning and physical attendance in small groups. This option would have students physically attend school in small groups that attend on differing days.  This option allows bus transportation and class sizes to meet social distancing requirements.  Option C:  a return to full distance learning (worst case scenario).  If physical attendance is an option (full time or staggered), would you allow your child to physically attend school or do you plan to keep your child home and continue with distance learning? *
