Free Restorative Stories Workshop
A CHANCE TO COLLABORATE!

We are looking for six BIPOC artists with a story to tell.

As part of our ongoing efforts to increase inclusion in the performing arts field, The Barrow Group wants to collaborate with these artists to develop their stories.  Selected artists will participate in a free 10-week story development workshop with Seth Barrish (Co-Artistic Director of The Barrow Group, director of Mike Birbiglia’s Broadway show The New One).  The workshop will culminate with a public-facing sharing of work-in-progress.  Additionally, participants will receive a small honorarium.

If you’re interested in participating, please fill out the below form and submit any original 3 to 5 minute story on video as a representation of your work:

(1)  Video yourself telling a 3 to 5 minute story.
(2)  Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo.
(3)  Fill out and submit the form below by February 8, 2021.

Participants will be selected by K. Lorrel Manning (award-winning director), Poorna Jagganathan (award-winning actress), Seth Barrish (TBG co-Artistic Director), and Lee Brock (TBG co-Artistic Director).

Submission deadline: February 8, 2021

Thank you!
