The Vietnamese Student Association at tOSU kindly presents our 21st Annual Culture Show: "Đi Để Trở Về."

Every experience is a story waiting to be told; a story waiting to be learned from. "Đi Để Trở Về" (“Coming Home”) is a phrase encapsulating the bittersweet reality of being human. To grow, you must dig far and deep into the earth, taking in all that the world has to offer. And to blossom, you must return home and share all that you have seen. Trees do not reach far into the sky if their roots remain at the foot of the trunk. Likewise, we cannot thrive if we remain comfortable and we may lose ourselves if we forget where we came from. With a series of extravagant yet whimsical performances, the production showcases the traditional and contemporary sounds and visuals of Vietnam.

***REGISTRATION INFORMATION***
The form will be opened from 10 AM to 10 PM EST daily. Registration form submission and payment within this time frame are both required to secure a ticket. Completion of one without the other does not guarantee a ticket. On the chance that tickets sell-out, this form will convert to a waitlist. You will be contacted for payment if you get off the list. If there is no sell-out, remaining tickets will be sold at the door for $10.

Refund and ticket transfers to anyone on the waitlist is open until 11:59 PM EST on Monday, 1/27. Any requests made past this time will not be honored even if you are unable to attend the show.



***EXTERNAL HOUSING***
External may request housing from OSU VSA for Saturday night only through this form. The housing will close on 1/25 at 11:59 PM EST. External are responsible for securing their own housing past this date.



All proceeds acquired will be going to our Collective Philanthropy Project beneficiary, Messengers of Love.
Their mission is, "To provide physical, mental, emotional and educational support to orphaned and underprivileged children of Vietnam through programs and services such as Scholarship for a Poor Child, Holiday Care Packages, English and Character class, Workforce Preparation and Training, Summer School, Safe Shelter and Clean Water programs."

Our funds this year will be directly supporting their "Summer 2020 English Teaching and Cultural Exchange Program.” This project is geared towards the underprivileged and ethnic minority children in the highland mountains of Vietnam to improve their skills in the English language, understanding the moral and ethical principles evident in modern society, and assisting their adeptness towards computer usage. The outcomes of this project will build a foundation for children to succeed in their future, whether it involves sparking their interest in furthering their education or attaining success in the workforce they enter.
