"Where Mana Meets Mental Health"
We are excited to announce we will begin hosting a series of webinars titled "Rooted in Medicine" where we will discuss where Pacific Islander culture & heritage intersect with medicine. As medical students we felt it was important for us to create a space for important dialogue about the health and wellness of our communities, which is currently lacking in our undergraduate medical education curricula. We hope you will join us to learn and to contribute to these critical community conversations!

Join us for our first webinar titled "Where Mana Meets Mental Health" where we will discuss mental health in Pacific Islander communities. Our discussion will be lead by Dr. Lyle Kinikini, Dr. Bango Gancinia and Dr. Hoku Conklin, specialists in the fields of psychiatry and psychology, who will share their professional journeys and discuss the unique challenges our communities face to improved mental health.
