The discussion about establishing a direct flight between Phoenix and India has been ongoing for quite some time, involving numerous factors that need to be considered for its feasibility. Airlines must carefully assess the data and logistics to ensure the financial viability of such a route. Recently, representatives from the Arizona State Government and the City of Phoenix raised this issue with the Consul General of India in San Francisco during his visit. He intends to discuss this matter with Air India to explore the possibility of establishing a connection.
Meanwhile, there's a recommendation to gauge the community's interest and support. The India Association of Phoenix has taken the initiative to collect and analyze relevant data to provide a comprehensive report to both Air India and the governing authorities, which will serve as valuable input in the decision-making process. This initiative is expected to play a crucial role in facilitating the final decision after all other factors also work out for them.
