This event is an opportunity for Glenn County families and friends to support the children and adults in our community with special needs. The race will have a traditional 5k run/walk track as well as a modified track for those who needed a shorter route. Volunteers will be present to assist families and their children if needed. The Pumpkin Run is sponsored by Capay Elementary, Hamilton Unified School District, Lake Elementary, Orland Unified School District, Plaza Elementary, Princeton Joint Unified School District, Stony Creek Joint Unified School District, Willows Unified School District, Walden Academy Charter School, William Finch Charter School, the Glenn County Office of Education and the Glenn County SELPA. Registration is free. Music, family games, face painting, snow-cones and a bounce house will be available to participants at Lely park.
Please complete the registration in order to participate in the event. Please arrive to the event by 8:00am. The race begins at 9:00am at Lely Park in Orland. The race route will be marked and there will be volunteers to direct runners/walkers.
