With effect from 30 January 2023, membership registration is compulsory if you are attending your second session onwards. Membership perks include:
1) Voting rights during AGMs and EGMs (active members only)
2) Eligibility for recruitment into the Executive Committee
3) Ability to attend weekly sessions

As a member, there is no commitment requirement, and no strings attached! Registration is free, so come on down and get your brains moving!
Here at SMU I-Sports, we play:

- Japanese (Riichi) Mahjong
- Texas Hold'em Poker
- International Chess

As long as there's something that floats your boat, you're more than welcome to join us for weekly sessions and tournaments every semester!

We run combined sessions in SMU every Friday afternoon (please refer to the Telegram groups for exact timings).

SMU I-Sports strictly will not condone, sanction or permit any form of gambling during its conducts.
SMU I-Sports is a fully legitimate club acknowledged by SMU and is under the SICS (Special Interest and Community Service Sodality) student constitution body.

We strive to promote these games as strategic mind-sports with a casual and competitive approach. We are against the stereotype that the games are always associated with gambling, and we seek to change that mindset, because these games are all intellectual games that prove beneficial in many other ways.
