I hereby apply for membership to the Gloucester Kennel Club of Virginia, Inc. and promise to pay annual dues within 7 days of the submitting membership application. Dues paid  after October 1st shall be applied to the following GKC fiscal year. By signing this application I agree to abide by Constitution and By-Laws of the GKC, Inc. and also the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club. By signing, I acknowledge that I have attend least one club meeting or GKC sponsored event, to meet the members of GKC and become familiar with activities that the club is involved in.

By signing, I acknowledge that:

• I am not under suspension, expulsion or other disciplinary measures of the American Kennel Club and/or any other kennel, breed or dog club

• I will uphold the integrity of the Gloucester Kennel Club of Virginia, Inc.

• I will work at least one dog show per year; work two additional events and serve on one committee or perform other major duties necessary to Club operations.  Members with special circumstances who are unable to meet the above requirements will be given due consideration by the Board of Directors.

• I will act with respect and good sportsmanship towards fellow GKC members, as well as others involved in dog sport and activities

• I have never been convicted of any type of animal abuse or neglect

• I agree to remain in good standing with the Gloucester Club of Virginia, Inc. as well as the American Kennel Club
