Mahalo nui for your interest in the 2023 Ka ʻĀmana Koʻokua Mentorship Cohort ʻElua Program. This free program requires 48 contact hours between mentor and mentee over the course of the year (August 2023 - June 2024), which includes participating in one-on-one virtual and/or in-person meetings, monthly special-topic workshops, and at least one each prenatal, birth, and postpartum shadowing. Limited mentorship positions are available. As such, please provide detailed responses.

This mentorship program requires a total of 48 contact hours between mentor and mentee over the year (including one-on-one virtual and/or in-person meetings, monthly special-topic workshops, shadowing prenatals and at least one birth). Please share about your other responsibilities (ʻohana, work, personal, etc.) and a little about how you see this program fitting into your life. *
While no previous experience in birthwork is necessary to be a part of the cohort, we do ask that potential koʻokua (doulas) are committed to serving as  Kalauokekahuli Koʻokua (with compensation) for at least a year following the completion of the program. Due to the grant-funded nature of our programs, reporting is required for us to continue receiving grantor support. Will you be able to participate in program surveys/requests for information, testimonials, and/or photos? *
