Melts, Glasses, Magmas 2021
The 2021 edition of MELTS, GLASSES, MAGMAS will take place as online class in the week of 5-9 July 2021.

Due to travel restrictions, we have decided to offer the course (15 hours of lectures) once more without the lab demonstrations and virtually via ZOOM. The course will cover the chemical and physical properties of silicate melts and explain how they control magmatic and volcanic behaviour. A brief structural introduction is followed by the principles and results of experiments that quantify the properties of melts, glasses and magmas. The course will be provided in five 3-hour time slots between Monday and Friday, probably in the afternoons Munich time (CET).

Please fill the fields to express your interest in participating the 2021 short course "Melts, Glasses, Magmas", held by Prof. Dingwell in Munich (Germany) from 5 through 9 July. The total number of participants is not limited. Some days prior to the course, we will contact you to register for the online course (at this point the time slots will have been fixed). You are expected to register with your full name.
