The Sustainable States Network is made up of 15 state-level programs that support local governments on sustainability, resilience, and climate mitigation initiatives. Our work impacts more than 65 million people in communities across the US.
Affiliates may be federal, state, or regional governments or agencies, educational institutions, foundations, Tribal governments, nonprofits, or programs that support local governments in a region of a state or nationally to address sustainability and/or climate mitigation or resilience. Their programs are voluntary and beyond compliance.
Benefits include learning and sharing from other organizations and programs doing similar work, participating in Network Work Groups, networking events, and trainings, and attending the Annual Meeting.
