BLRA: Student of the Month Nomination
The Student of the Month is one who has gone above and beyond in the areas of academic achievement, citizenship, character development, and school improvement. While these characteristics are most often noticed in the classroom, they are also displayed throughout the school. Nominees are selected by grade level teams and exemplify what it means to be a Stallion. Below is a description of Student of the Month and the characteristics that distinguish him or her from others.

Student of the Month Teacher To Do:
Once a month each grade level will nominate one student of the month using this form
Work with your team on how you would like to choose students (most rotate which class each student will be chosen from). The nominating teacher needs to complete the SOM nomination form the week prior to the SOM Breakfast.

A member of the leadership team will come into your classroom and announce the Student of the Month and give the SOM the invitation for the SOM breakfast. This is a fun surprise for student so please keep it a secret until it is announced in your class.

The Thursday day before the SOM breakfast please remind your SOM of the breakfast and that they may wear non-uniform/free dress.
