Sign up below for shifts at a variety of exciting events and public programs at the Maritime Museum of BC! You can also email Anya Baker at abaker@mmbc.bc.ca with questions or specific volunteering requests.
You may select multiple roles below for each event, to indicate what you are interested in. Only the Volunteer Bartender role requires a Serving it Right! Certificate.

November 5 - Crabtoberfest - 4PM-9PM
Victoria's only crab fest--this will be the event of the season at Pier A, Breakwater District at Ogden Point. Music, crabs, and games, and a chance to see Trekka and Tilikum on display.
Volunteer Bartender: this position involves serving drinks. Serving It Right! Certificate required.
Ticket Sales Volunteer: this position involves cash handling for admission, drinks, snacks, and swag.
50/50 Volunteer: this position involves cash handling and selling raffle tickets.
Programs Volunteer: this position involves facilitating carnival games.
Auction Volunteer: this position involves running a small silent auction.
Setup Volunteer (10AM-2PM): this position involves setting up tables and chairs, and stations.
Traffic Control (5 - 7 PM): this position involves directing traffic and parking in the parking lot.
November 8 - Exhibit Launch - 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Dignitaries and contributors to the new Darn It! exhibit will be invited to a special evening launch event.
Volunteer Bartender: this position involves serving drinks. Serving It Right! Certificate required.
Front Desk Volunteer: this position involves processing admission and gift shop sales.
Programs Volunteer: this position involves facilitating small craft stations.
