New England GiveCamp 2024 Non profit project request
New England GiveCamp is an opportunity for non profit organizations to be paired up with a team of developers and designers over the course of a weekend to work on a project the organization needs.

This year's event will be a hybrid event with participants local and remote. It is scheduled for May 17-19. A decision maker will need to be available in person, or via phone or video conference throughout the weekend.

If you would like your non profit to be considered for a web-based, application, or other technical please submit this form and we will be in touch to work through the details.

What can GiveCamp Do for You? New England GiveCamp can quickly jump start your non-profit’s outreach or conquer a technological hurdle. Our volunteers can help you:
  • Create or revamp an existing website
  • Install a Content Management System so you can maintain it yourself
  • Clean up or build a database or application for your organization
  • Help you develop reports for your Board and donors
  • Help you rebrand your organization with a new logo and marketing materials

The only real constraint is that the project scope must be achievable in the span of GiveCamp weekend. Have questions about requesting a project? Send us an email! We can help walk you through the process.

Who Participates?  We help New England-area non-profits/501c(3)s that are just starting out or are eager to grow to the next level. Smaller organizations without an IT department and those trying to establish (versus expand) a web presence are likely to be favored over established organizations; however, we encourage everyone to submit their requests for consideration. At the event your representatives will work side-by-side with a team of volunteers dedicated to your project.

How are Projects Selected? The process begins with your non-profit completing the very low-key application form below. The primary constraint is the scope of the effort: it must be something that can be completed to a reasonable degree during the weekend event. A GiveCamp representative may reach out to you for more details before a decision is made. We also evaluate the likelihood we will have an appropriate team of volunteers to best support you. In past years, nearly all applicants are accepted, although we sometimes recommend a modification of the project requested.

When will Projects be Selected? You will be notified on or before May 1st if your organization has been accepted. We ask that you keep the weekend of the event free until then, so you can be certain to have someone available to join us should you be accepted.
