ROOM PARENT/GRADE CHAIR SURVEY
ROOM PARENT 

Each classroom is assigned 1 to 2 room parent(s).

Room Parents help garner parent involvement for field trips, projects, classroom events and parties.  They are also responsible for coordinating birthday gifts for their teacher as well as 1 or 2 assigned auxiliary member(s) (PE, Maintenance, Discovery Center, Art, etc).  Room Parents are led by the Elementary Campus Coordinator, but mostly work under the guidance of their teacher.  

*A mandatory Room-Parent-Training will be held at the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.  

GRADE CHAIR 

Each grade has a Chair + Co-chair for a total of 14 Chairs, led by the Elementary Campus Coordinator.

Chairs help facilitate social functions and fundraising activities. 
They are responsible for attending 4 mandatory meetings throughout the year and helping with Harvest Festival and Teacher Appreciation.  

The remaining school events are lead by the following Chairs:
Trot-for-Tech:  Kinder + 1st Grade 
Christmas Boutique:  2nd + 3rd Grade (purchasing + inventory control is a separate committee)
Fall Fundraiser:  4th + 5th Grade 
6th Grade Blessing:  6th Grade 

*Chair commitment is recommended 2+ school years
