Join us (virtually) as we talk with artivist Rashad Wright. Wright, a poet, author and playwright, has used his words to explore childhood, adolescents, athletics, sexuality, self-love, and identity.
Q&A Session with Poet Gold will lead the evening's conversation.

Rashad Wright was the one-time poet laureate of Jersey City and the only two time grand slam champion of Jersey City Slam. He is the author of a memoir titled Romeo's Whiskey. He's also an actor and playwright with his debut show "Eh-Tu's Raucous Caucous Tango." Rashad performed at the Falcon as a feature for Poet Gold”s Poelodies and was the 2019 feature for PoughETRY Fest Youth Open Mic at the Cunneen Hackett Arts Center
Poet Gold is a rare talent who grabs you by the heart and says “Recognize” – Poet, author, performer, songwriter, community “Artivist” and speaker, Bettina “Poet Gold” Wilkerson is pushing the boundaries of poetry and the spoken word. Living with a chronic illness since childhood, Poet Gold, or as she is affectionately known as “Gold”, brings a soul-searching insight about the human existence, love, dreams, challenges, and triumph.
