Summer Bridge Program (August 8-10, 2023)
Greetings Lakewood families!

The Lakewood teachers and staff are thrilled to be able to offer a Summer Bridge program to our incoming 6th grade students.

During this session,  students will engage in activities that align with our three pillars-academics, community, and self. Students will have an opportunity to get to know one another, begin to feel comfortable in their new space, and get some dedicated time to set up lockers, binders, planners, etc.

Summer Bridge is free of charge and provides breakfast and lunch daily. Transportation is available using hub stops in school neighborhoods.  We are encouraging all incoming 6th grade students to participate if their schedule allows. This Summer Bridge Program is free, and an exciting opportunity for your child to learn and prepare for the upcoming year.

Los maestros y el personal de Lakewood están encantados de poder ofrecer el programa Summer Bridge a nuestros estudiantes de sexto grado que ingresan.

Durante esta sesión, los estudiantes participarán en actividades que se alinean con nuestros tres pilares: académico, comunitario y personal. Los estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de conocerse unos a otros, comenzar a sentirse cómodos en su nuevo espacio y dedicar tiempo para configurar casilleros, carpetas, agendas, etc

Summer Bridge es gratuito y ofrece desayuno y almuerzo todos los días. El transporte está disponible utilizando paradas centrales en los vecindarios escolares. Estamos alentando a todos los estudiantes de sexto grado que ingresan a participar si su horario lo permite. Este programa Summer Bridge es gratuito y es una oportunidad emocionante para que su hijo aprenda y se prepare para el próximo año.
