Over the last 5 years Hoopla have been trying to improve the diversity of the improv scene with shows, workshops and scholarships aimed at people from different diverse backgrounds. Earlier this year we also started an outreach project to try and bring improv to a wider range of people in new areas outside of our normal audience.

Now we want to involve more people to help us plan the next step, so that our planning is done involving everyone.

We know there are other groups of people that are historically under represented in improv, and we will be doing something similar for them over the year too as detailed on the diversity section of our website.
