Riverside Opera Character Survey
As an entirely optional step in character creation, you may fill out the following survey for 2 bonus XP. This XP will not transfer to your next character (as you can simply earn it again by filling out the surveys for your new character) and the surveys can only be filled out once per character. In order to receive credit for your surveys please make sure that each answer has at least three sentences.

Describe your character’s life before becoming a vampire. Where and when was he or she born, raised, etc.? Who was his or her family? *
Who Embraced your character, and why? Describe the events that transpired—or, at least, your character's understanding of them. *
What were the most important personal events in your character's existence, personally or historically? How is each important? (Consider: First loves, marriages, serious illnesses/injuries, family/relations, crime/punishment, education, jobs/careers, nicknames, friendships, and historical events.) *
How does your character feel about the member Clans and Bloodlines in his or her faction?  Is your character even aware of all of them?  a. For Camarilla and Anarch characters – Brujah, Caitiff, Gangrel, Gargoyles, Lasombra antitribu, Malkavian, Nosferatu, Toreador, Tremere, and Ventrue.  b. For Independent Alliance characters – Assamite, Caitiff, Followers of Set, Giovanni, Old Clan Tzimisce, Ravnos, Salubri and Samedi).  c. If your character is an Autarkis, pick eight total from either list and give your characters feelings for each.   *
Is this your character’s original identity?  Consider: Is your character known to be dead? How does he or she deal with it (one way or the other)?  Who would remember or recognize your character? Was your character famous in some way?   *
Identify why you chose each negative characteristic on your sheet (Flaws, Negative Traits, Derangements, etc.) and how they affect your character’s sense of self. *
What emotionally significant possessions or mementos does your character have (photos, journals, jewelry, childhood possessions, creative works, etc.)? *
Why is your character in Memphis? *
What does your character do on a nightly basis? What is his or her routine like? What does your character do for fun? *
How does your character acquire and spend money (Credit cards, bank accounts, investments, bills, taxes, etc.)? *
Where does your character live?  Why did they choose that part of town?  How do they decorate their living space?  (This question does not eliminate the need for a haven writeup.  That document should still be submitted separately.) *
What languages does your character speak, and how or when were they learned? How does your character keep them from being forgotten? *
What are your character's most profound desires, secrets, or prejudices? How do these manifest in the character's behavior? *
What are your character's specific short-term goals in Memphis?  What are your character’s long-term goals overall?  How does he or she hope to accomplish them? *
What is your character’s relationship to religion? Does he or she practice actively? If so, why? If not, why not? *
