Hello After School Drama Families!

Welcome to registration for this year's K-2 Creative Drama Class! Students will use theatre exercises and imaginary play to creatively and collaboratively solve problems. Banding together as an ensemble, each student will use their voice, body, and imagination to overcome dramatic challenges and create characters inhabiting the story and world the class creates. Tuition for the class will be $155.00, and scholarships will be available. We will have a cap on enrollment in order to ensure that there is a safe and positive student/teacher ratio, so registration will close after 12 slots have filled.

This class will be taught by Karissa Elliott and will run for seven sessions on the following days:
Wednesday, May 1st 2:10-3:30pm
Wednesday, May 8th 2:10-3:30pm
Wednesday, May 15th 2:10-3:30pm
Wednesday, May 22nd 2:10-3:30pm
Wednesday, May 29th 2:10-3:30pm
Wednesday, June 5th 2:10-3:30pm
Wednesday, June 12th 2:10-3:30pm

Class will typically take place in room 214 (the greenroom for those of you who have done plays with us before!). If there is a location change, parents will be notified via email.

There will be a sharing on the last day of class (June 12th). This will be the last 45 minutes of class, and will be a chance for parents/family to observe/participate in part of the creative drama experience. I'd like to emphasize that this is a sharing of a typical class session, not a performance or showcase.

Once registration is complete, we will be contacting parents/guardians in order to organize volunteers to provide snack on a weekly basis, since each class will start with a snack.

While it is not strictly mandatory for students to attend every class, and we are aware that sickness and unexpected conflicts can happen, we ask that if your student would miss more than one or two classes, you leave the slot open for another student.
