Eligibility Requirements:

- Students must have completed the following GE area requirements with a grade of "C-" or better:
• A1: Oral Communication;
• A2: Written Communication;
• A3: Critical Thinking & Writing; and
• B4: Mathematical Concepts

- CORE GE, PE, and American Institutions have been completed or will be completed in the semester for which student is seeking permission to enroll in SJSU Studies courses.

- Both SJSU and All College GPA must be at least a 2.5. Exceptions may be considered for students who have earned more than 57 units.

- Student must complete 60 or more units by the end of the semester for which student is seeking permission to enroll in SJSU Studies courses.

- Form can be used if transfer coursework has not been posted or academic level was not assigned properly.

If a petition is approved, students will only be able to register starting on the first day of instruction for the semester seeking enrollment.
