We welcome submissions on a wide variety of topics that relate to climate and health. The 90-minute workshop should engage the participants in facilitated
activities and exercises to increase the participants’ competence or
understanding of climate and health. The presentation should be focused
on skill-building and should include interactive group activities.
Themes to consider:
Education - Curating curriculum to educate and empower current and future health professionals to make a positive impact on the health of the people and the communities we serve
Advocacy - How can health professionals and the institutions they are associated with advocate for policies and programs that address the health impacts impacting patient populations and the communities where our patients live
Community - Inform and share what health professionals can do to educate and inform community members, leaders, and partner organizations of the importance of addressing the health impacts of climate change.
Priority will be given to submissions received by February 15th.
