Registration for new singers! Tuition is for SPRING SEMESTER ONLY (January-May)
There is no formal concert attire for this semester. First time registration includes a ChildrenSong blue polo, which will be needed for Virtual Performances. If you are returning to CS and have outgrown the polo, you can request to swap your gently used polo for another in a larger size (if available). New polos cost $25

ChildrenSong rehearses every MONDAY EVENING - Starting Monday, January 4, 2021
Children's Choir (grades 3-5) 5:30-6:30pm
Youth Choir (grades 6-12) 6:30-7:30pm
Cantate Singers 6:30-8:00ish (by audition/discussion with director)

All Parents + Cantate Singers need to join Remind. Codes will be in the first announcements.
Children's Choir (grades 3-5) $200
Youth Choir (grades 6-7) $200
Cantate Singers (grades 8-12) $250
5th graders and 7th graders have the opportunity to audit Youth Choir and Cantate Singers (respectively) free of charge with director's permission. Auditing singers will not be part of the recording sessions of the audited groups unless director requests it due to voicing needs at the time of the recording.

Code of Conduct and Commitment to ChildrenSong *

We fully understand the strong commitment to ChildrenSong and the need to commit to one complete semester, for which we are registered.

If we need to miss a rehearsal on Zoom, parent or singer should request a copy of the missed rehearsal to review what was learned.

Singers are expected to make "smart choices" during Zoom rehearsal. Poor behavior will be addressed one-on-one after rehearsal and parents will be contacted. Continued misbehavior will result in dismissal from the choir.

We grant ChildrenSong permission to record Zoom rehearsals or take pictures of rehearsals and post on Social Media

Once a singer submits a recording for a virtual choir performance, it becomes property of ChildrenSong of New Jersey. The Artistic Director has the right to use or not use whole or part of the recording if it is not prepared to standard. However, we will have at least one recording where every voice will be included in the performance.
