Sustainability/Finance Committee - This committee looks for for grants and vendor sponsorship to support development of the SCNESA website/educational offerings including annual conference. Works closely with Education Planning Committee.This committee will be responsible for maintaining SCNESA membership.This committee will be responsible for maintaining SCNESA membership.

Education Planning Committee - This committee will be responsible for Workshop/Conference planning for SCNESA, and obtaining contact hours from SCNA (so preferably at least one member with “Provider” status for CEUs). Will work with Sustainability/Finance Committee to keep conference free to members or at minimal cost.

Governance Committee - This committee will be responsible for developing and reviewing by-laws, nominations & elections, and communication with State Board of Nursing as needed.

ARTICLE III: MEMBERSHIP Section I: Eligibility and Category Membership shall be open to all persons who are involved in or have a professional interest in Simulation Based Education (SBE) and who agree to support the mission, vision and goals of SCNESA. Only members in good standing shall have access to all rights and privileges apportioned to members. Individuals who wish to become members must live or work in South Carolina. Section II: Membership Application and Renewal Any person or corporation who meets the membership eligibility criteria may apply for initial membership in SCNESA by completing an application for membership. Qualified persons shall not be denied membership because of race, religion, sex, national origin, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law. Membership fees shall be paid annually for membership effective August 1 to the following July 31 of each year. Section IV: Transfer/Termination of Membership Membership may be terminated by the board of directors for noncompliance with any pertinent provisions of the bylaws and for violation of these bylaws or any rules and regulations promulgated pursuant thereto. Membership in SCNESA is vested in the individual and may not be transferred to another individual. Members may resign from the Alliance at any time. *
