Opting Out of the Town of Boxford's Automated Curbside Trash and Recycling Collection Program
Please complete this form only if you DO NOT want to participate in the Town's automated curbside trash collection program, which is run in partnership with G. Mello. While recycling collection is free and will still be available to you, you will need to arrange for your own trash collection.

As a reminder, all carts issued as part of the Town's automated curbside trash and recycling collection program are Town-owned. If you have received a 65-gallon trash container, but you decide to opt out of the program, you are responsible for returning the container to the Town at 7B Spofford Road. The same goes for the 95-gallon containers used for recycling (if you opt out of that service as well).

Do you want to participate in the Town's automated curbside trash collection program? If you do not (and you opt out), you will not be required to pay the $175 annual fee, though you will be responsible for arranging for your own trash collection.

If you would like to participate in the Town's automated curbside trash collection program, please do not fill out this form. Instead, go to the Town's website (www.BoxfordMA.gov/WasteStreamTaskForce) to pay the $175 annual fee required to participate in the program.

If you opted out of the Town's automated curbside trash collection program, you are still able to participate in the Town's automated curbside bi-weekly recycling collection program free of charge. Would you still like to participate in the recycling program?

If you answer yes, we will deliver a 95-gallon recycling container to your house in mid-June. If you answer no, you will not have the container delivered to your house and you will not be able to participate in the Town's automated curbside bi-weekly recycling collection program.
