This is a project (tapestry) by RedLinedPeriod.org - I am Erin Nascimento (EJ) the founder of a very small non-profit charity based in Rhode Island, and focus exclusively on reducing Menstrual Product Insecurity and addressing Period Poverty in RI - particularly in our schools.

The purpose of this project is to bring awareness to which type of school children where when their "period" began.

Every time we receive an answer we add a string to our tapestry project.

We are asking for nothing except your answers.

No identifying data other than zip code is collected. Based on the response that we have received, age range, grade level and school level (Elementary, Middle High) vary greatly from one city to the next - thus collecting zip codes.
