COMPETITION PLAYING DAY AND TIME  

Saturday with games played anywhere between 8am and 1pm.

REQUIRED UNIFORM 

AJHS Netball Dress (purchased from AJHS uniform shop $92.00) Black or navy sports brief. (No shorts to be worn under netball dress). All students must wear sports shoes. 

TRAINING 

Teams will have a minimum of one training per week, which will be held on the school netball courts either before or after school. Training days and times will be advised once teams and coaches confirmed.

TRIALS 

The trials are held on the school netball courts during the school day from 8.45am - 12pm.  
All students trialing must be in PE gear and netball/sports footwear.

TRANSPORT 

It is the responsibility of parent/caregivers to either transport their child to the games and trainings each week or to arrange for another parent/caregiver to transport them. The school does not provide transport for this competition.

REGISTRATION FEE  

$155.00 per player for the season.

COMPULSORY ADMINISTRATION FEE 

$25.00 (One off payment of $25 will be charged regardless of the number of sports played)

UMPIRE FEE: 

Each team is required to pay $15.00 each week to cover the cost of umpires, this is not included in the registration fee and will be collected by Team Managers at the start of the season. 

(Depending on team numbers it will be around $30 per player for the season)

For this length of time and at this level of competition each school team requires a coach and a manager.
As a coach you will be required to take a minimum of one training per week and also be available at the games. For team training's the school's outdoor netball courts would be available for use before or after school. Standard training times are either 7.30am in morning or 3.30pm to 4.30pm after school.

Managers are required to organise the team, ensuring all players and parents/caregivers are aware of game times and trainings, collect umpire money and ensure umpire paid each week and also arranging for a person to do scorecard duty at each game. Ideally the Manager will also attend games to support the team and the coach.

All team communication will be through the TeamReach app. Details will be provided once teams are confirmed.

Without parent volunteers it is impossible for teams to participate in the competition so if you are available to assist with either role please tick the appropriate box on the form.

To ensure your child is registered for the year 9 and 10 netball competition, please complete the following form and submit by 9am Wednesday 15th of February 2023. Please also ensure that the deposit of $55.00 plus $25.00 Administration Fee is paid by Wednesday 15th of February 2023. 

Our preferred method of payment is by internet banking. Please make payment to our school bank account ASB 12 3107 0017930 00. Please use NC and your child's name as reference for payment.
