Call for Artists - BEAM 2021
BEAM is a free and engaging outdoor event showcasing art that incorporates light.

BEAM offers opportunities for artists to bring unique and engaging art experiences to the streets of Eugene.  

Event Date: Friday - October 8, 2021.

Event Times: 7:00 - 10:00 PM

Event Location: East and West Park Blocks, Oak St & 8th Ave, Eugene, OR

Produced by: ArtCity Eugene in partnership with City of Eugene Cultural Services through the Downtown Program Fund.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Sunday, 16 May 2021, 11:59PM Pacific Time

Submissions may include projection mapping, installations, urban artscapes, new media, interactive art, video, music, performance, dance, any and all art forms that utilize light as an artistic medium incorporated into the art.

Due to potential Covid-19 restrictions, artwork requiring public hands-on interaction will not be considered.

Submission Process: Artists are invited to complete the form below. Documentation of previous work and a general description with reference images of the work you intend to create are required. The selection committee will review and consider all submitted materials. The final work is not required to be a rigid representation of the original proposal, but should be similar in concept and quality and must utilize light.

After reviewing submissions, ArtCity will confirm acceptance status via email.

ArtCity will include selected artists in social media promotion.

Submission is free. Selected artists will receive a $150 stipend after the completion of the event.
