The Environmental Education Association of Illinois (EEAI) is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the 2020 Conference and Annual Meeting, to be held in Makanda, Illinois. EEAI invites you to submit proposals now through December 6th, 2019. Submitting presenters will be notified of the outcome of the proposal review process no later than January 4th, 2020.
EEAI is a statewide, nonprofit, professional organization with the purpose of maintaining a vital network that supports and advances quality environmental education throughout the state. Our membership consists of classroom teachers, non-formal educators, natural resource professionals, professors, university students and nature enthusiasts.
Participants attending the 2020 Annual Meeting and Conference will attend sessions designed around the theme "2020: A Clear Vision for a Sustainable Future.” We invite you to participate by submitting a proposal for a session that can impact educators from across Illinois. The Conference Chairs are specifically looking at proposals that can possibly fit one of the following strands: formal educators, non-formal educators and outdoor education.
Concurrent speakers will present Friday, April 3rd or Saturday, April 4th at the at SIU's Touch of Nature Environmental Center in Makanda, IL. Presenters are required to register for the conference the day of their presentation.
