InnovationRCA Patent Support Application
Welcome to the application for the InnovationRCA Patent Support Programme 2024. This aims to identify, in advance of the SHOW2024 and other public facing exhibitions and competitions, projects that may be patentable and which the InnovationRCA team believes could have a strong commercial application and would particularly benefit from development within a start-up business.

The deadline for Patent Support applications is 24:00 GMT on Wednesday 29th May 2024.

Shortlisting will take place on Monday 3rd June 2024 and shortlisted applicants will be invited to give a short presentation on Wednesday 5th June 2024 to a panel of experts which will then decide which projects qualify for InnovationRCA-funded patent support. Candidates will be notified of the outcomes soon after. Most importantly, successful candidates will be awarded patent support for their projects before the SHOW2024, will be able to exhibit their projects with confidence at the SHOW2024 and will be invited to join Launchpad in July 2024. If you are awarded patent support for your project, we request that you commit to work on developing this project for a minimum of three working days a week after graduation.
