Setup Crew: Thursday setup involves many different activities including assembling Swag Bags, putting up decorations and posters and unloading supplies for OSC and Dealers (As requested). If the first day of the convention isn't soon enough for you and you want to know what happens behind the scenes in preparation, Thursday Setup Crew may be for you!
Registration Crew: Registration needs volunteers to help check in Con-goers. This could entail entering data into our Registration computers, sorting Pre-Registered Guests' purchases and distributing them, helping to assemble badges, and keeping registration lines orderly. This all helps Registration to run smoothly so that all Con-goers can be registered efficiently and enable them to enjoy the convention!
Security Crew: The Security Crew needs a security team to protect the convention from liability, and to help keep everyone safe and secure. Security personnel do a lot for the convention including assisting Con-goers, peace-bonding weapons, securing the dealer's hall and keeping the convention safe. You must be 18+ to volunteer for this crew.
Events Crew: The Events Crew helps panelists in making sure that there are no technical issues as well as can assist in running Audio/Video (ie. For the Karaoke and Lip Sync contests). The crew also act as timekeepers, politely giving the hosts of panels a ten minute warning. They also assist in setup/teardown of main events.
Merch Table Crew: OokiiSoraCon needs help manning their merch table in the dealers hall! This involves interacting with customers and cash/POS handling.
E-Gaming Crew: The Electronic Gaming Crew needs your help! Volunteers that help in this area make sure games and systems aren't broken or stolen, assist in running tournaments and make sure that everyone is enjoying themselves!
B-Gaming Crew: The Board Game Library is seeking librarians to help check out and accept back OSC's board games. Like board games? Make suggestions to our con-goers on games to play!
Audio/Video Crew: The Audio/Video Crew is seeking technicians to help make sure our panelists and events are set up and ready to go. Tech-savvy? Join this crew!
