Urban Academy is fortunate that it has a varied and rich parent community who are willing and keen to share their expertise. Our teaching staff has integrated parents in various ways within their instruction, but often it is in response to the community reaching out. By gathering information in this way, we are excited to be able to build a database of parents wishing to share their talents. Once you submit your details in this form, staff may begin to reach out to you directly should your skills fit well with their topics that they are teaching.

Please note that we do request that volunteers be flexible in the way that UA may be able to use your skills/talents so ideas may morph and change through discussion with staff. Also, though we are grateful for everyone's interest, it may be months before your area of expertise fits into a teacher's class and curriculum.
