This is the application form for the Participation Grant for the National Selection Conference Biel taking place from Friday 3rd September until Tuesday 7th September 2021. This form is to be submitted in addition to the registration and the application you send in by email to applications@eyp.ch. Please fill in this form by Thursday, 1st July 2021, 23:59 CET.

At this point of the application we would like to clarify the definitions for travel fee* and participation fee**, as stated in Policy No. 8, Art. 5 and Art. 6.

*Travel fee: The travel fees are defined as the costs effectively occasioned by the travel between the delegates’ residence and the session, back and forth.
i) Only costs for public transport in 2nd class are reimbursed by EYP Switzerland (bus, train, ferry, cable cars, and tram).
ii) Any subscription to a transportation service held by the delegate or provided by the session must be deducted from the travel fund.
iii) EYP Switzerland reserves the right to exclude any parts of the itinerary from the reimbursement, when deemed an unnecessary detour by the treasurer of EYP Switzerland.

This Fund is aimed at participants who are not able to pay for travel and/or participation expenses due to their socio-economic background (e.g. you are a recipient of state support for health insurance premiums).

The motivational letter will serve as a means for the Board to assess the applicant’s motives. To prevent the misuse of the opportunity imparted by the grant, you will have to answer the following questions on max. one page in total. We will examine your motivational letter for the questions of: (i) Why is it important to you to participate in our session? (ii) What do you expect to learn from participating in our session?
