Swan River Arabi is a totally donation based studio founded on the principles of Seva (selfless service), practice, and community.
Seva, or selfless service, is the act of providing for others without expectation of anything in return. All scheduled teachers offer their classes as seva. No one gets paid at the studio and the entire operation is completely run as an offering of Karma Yoga to benefit the whole. According to the teachings of yoga, performing seva is one of the fastest ways to lasting contentment.
Arabi is a great place to learn how to teach and deepen into your seva. As part of our selection process, we are looking for teachers who embody these principles by being dedicated to their practices, wanting to be part of our community, and being committed to a path of service.
