An active PTA is made of caring parents, guardians, school staff and local caring members.   Each member should choose to be a member of one or more of these committees.

Membership
Members will plan and deliver ways to increase PTA membership.  We are seeking people of all ages, men and women with diverse perspectives to consider new ways to reach and engage more Fairland ES Parents.

Scholastic Book Fair
Members will choose dates and plan fun ways to generate sales during the Fairs.  They may also volunteer to support during the Book Fair, both before and after school.

Yearbook
Take and collect pictures of events, organize yearbook pages, collect order forms and deliver yearbooks to students.

Fundraising
Members will plan and execute fundraising efforts.  They may reach out to local businesses, and plan fundraising sales and events.  They handle fundraising events as well as fundraising sales drives.

Staff Appreciation
Organize efforts to show appreciation for the FES staff, including: the Thanksgiving Luncheon, Cookies and Cocoa, and Teacher Appreciation week in May

5th Grade Promotion
(K-4th grade parents and other PTA members)Decorate and organize end-of-fifth grade events and promotion.

Organize our fun social events to serve our community.  Members will choose dates, themes, DJs, food and fun for each event.
