Women In Transportation Initiative (WITI) Internship
The Woman and Girls in Transportation Initiative (WITI) program by the USDOT is aimed to place young women around the country in internships with different companies, organizations, and transportation agencies every year. Interns are given the opportunity to gain real world experience in the fields that interest them while working with transportation executives, engineers, and project managers, performing meaningful work for an experience that can hopefully open their eyes to all that transportation has to offer.

This 2022 summer, we are looking to place an intern(s) with a company/organization who could use the support. The companies/organizations will be located throughout the Great Lakes States of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Interns will be compensated up to $3,000.

Upon completion of this form, we will follow up with qualified candidates about next steps.
