Press Application 

The Old Dominion Bar Association Annual Conference or Winter Meeting is a private meeting for the benefit of ODBA members and their guests.

Credentialed press representatives may attend, but they need to register with the executive director, DeShonna Brown, to obtain a press badge.

To attend, any press representatives must agree to the following conditions:

  • Any meetings of the ODBA, including board and section meetings are closed to the public and for members only.

  • All presentations, seminars and speeches are on background only and therefore off the record. A reporter may follow up with a speaker afterwards, but the reporter must conduct his/her own interview, with the consent of the speaker.

  • Recording or videotaping of any ODBA event at the Annual Conference or Winter Meeting is strictly forbidden.

  • If you wish to eat a meal, you must purchase a ticket no more than three (3) days in advance.

  • The hospitality room is completely off limits to any one representing themselves as a news outlet.
